The Journey Of A Modern Day Ruth

The book of Ruth is the Narrative of a love story

Summary of the chapter

In chapter 1, Ruth remains loyal to her mother-in-law Naomi after the death of her husband and in-laws. Naomi decides to return to her home land of Bethlehem alone, however, Ruth insists on staying with her and adopting Naomi’s God as her own. “But Ruth said, “Do not urge me to leave you or turn back from following you; for where you go, I will go, and where you lodge, I will lodge. Your people shall be my people, and your God, my God” (1:16).
•    Chapter 2 we see Ruth gleaning in the fields of Naomi’s relative Boaz. Boaz out of compassion and obedience to the law allows Ruth to glean but also leaves extra grain for her purposely.
•    In chapter 3, Naomi encourages Ruth to seek marriage with Boaz as a kinsman redeemer. Ruth obeys Naomi and asks for her rights and Boaz agrees but mentions that he must first be sure there are no others with first rights.
•    Chapter 4 Boaz and Ruth are married and Ruth conceives a son named Obed, the grandfather of the great King David, in the lineage of Christ our Messiah.
this chapter however, has many lessons to teach the women who have given up in life, and on love ,and think they can never be redeemed because of their past scars, hurts, trials, demise, etc.
in that light, i beseech every broken, hurt woman/lady to comprehend why it is important to never give up, never lose hope and put their trust in God alone for he is the redeemer.
from that above chapter, we see that Ruth had lost a husband and children but the lord redeemed her, showed mercy on her, favored her, gave her grace by bringing in her Boaz, who was a wealthy man ,God fearing, well respected and i mean her lineage produced great people. this is just to tell us that God would step in for us at anytime and change our lives in ways that we could never imagine.
2 Corinthians 9:12 “And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.”
so yeah , no matter what has happened to you, he abused you, he hurt you, left you shattered and abandoned, you feel broken, or whatever pain you may have journeyed through , the only way to revival is to let go and move on
what’s your biggest fear? that if you move on it won’t work? So what? We spend hours convincing ourselves why we shouldn’t let go. Constantly telling ourselves the reasons we should abandon what feels so right instead of just feeling. If our biggest fear is failure how will we ever expose the force of our potential. We bring halfhearted hopes into the pursuit of our dreams then become baffled when they’re never fully realized. The only way to get change is to give more than required.
All around me I see lives crippled by the fear of not getting anything back. We choose to give less than we have to and we complain when we receive less than our hearts deserve. I don’t want you to be that person anymore. don’t be afraid to live, the only thing holding you back is you.
The only reason we can hear the whispers of our critics is because we don’t live loud enough. We become content to stifle our best so that we can feel like the rest.
Whether you have chosen to build a wall and isolate your heart from the devastation of failure and expectation or choose to live unapologetically; people will still talk. so just do you and  Let your God talk back.
You have no idea what fragments of your life He needs to create a masterpiece, hence give life all that He has given you.stop imprisoning your heart and stop caging your mind. Don’t silence your voice just trust God for only his Grace can heal the wounds of your past ,start believing his power can make all things new for you and stop choosing between your fears and your dreams
show God that you trust Him by letting go. don’t be so set on things going your way that you don’t realize you can get to the same destination if you just have to take a different route. If you let life’s detours cancel your destination then you didn’t dream big enough.
Whatever lies ahead of you must be worth the process you’ll have to go through or quitting will always be easy. You can’t give up on something God has for you. Be patient. Be comfortable with things being in His control. Boaz would come at God’s timing , not yours
now, how do you walk the journey of a modern Ruth??
A modern day Ruth is a woman who ended up with a divine blessing and legacy.
Let go of what died or didn’t work out and walk towards your future. Embrace the process of becoming a “Ruth,” and when you least expect it your Boaz will see you from across the field. Ruth was led to the field where Boaz was, you should know Nothing just happens.
A Ruth  feels really tired but she clings to God and trusts Him to carry her when she can’t go on.She has learned to find joy in the waiting. She looks to the Lord and she is radiant…Her face is never covered in shame. A Modern Day Ruth’s Pain becomes our beauty when we let it transform us from the inside out. She is strong, loyal, and faithful.
Her wisdom and beauty come from her faith in God.She’s not broken anymore. She’s stronger, wiser, and more beautiful than before Because God took her broken pieces and made her new again. She let’s her struggles make her stronger not bitter. Ruth walked the road of loyalty and she ended up being royalty
Proverbs 3:5 – Trust in the Lord with all thy heart; and lean not on thine own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and he will direct your paths.
i think you can now say I’m not ashamed to be walking the journey of a modern day Ruth.I consider it an honor, for i know  God has great things in store for His daughters !
